The purpose of this association is to co-operate in the formulation of standards for the protection of the safety, health, morals, and general welfare of those in and about buildings. It is also the purpose of this association to promote co-operation and understanding between building officials and other code enforcement officials, agencies, the building construction industry and allied fields, and the general public.
